Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

Seems like its all gone to brick at United, all the lays off’s, canceling Christmas bonus and now apparently won’t pay Mainoo what he wants, they are well and truly penny pinching. They are trying to get rid of their big earners, i can’t see them competing unless something changes and someone decides to spend some money on proper talent.

They have huge income, but it what most people refuse to acknowledge, football is fudging difficult as a business

- They have PSR problems, gets worse every season they miss CL/Europe
- Literally have something like 9 players earning more than our highest earners, Rashford is on 350K/wk, who the fudge is going to pick that up?
- Massive debt (>900M) not on long term favorable rates
- Real owners expect money back every year in dividends
- Infrastructure is falling apart

Somehow with all of that, they need to do a specialized squad refresh for a manager that only plays one way ..

The BBC fanboys are putting out some weird articles about their stadium.

Apparently it’s going to be better than the Bernabeu, the redevelopment will make an impression on the countries GDP, it will be the Wembley of the North and will cost £2billion.

It’s absolutely gonads.

The reality is that they’ve had an internal debate and still haven’t really decided if they will just renovate the RatTrap.

They have touched on the real problems of a full redevelopment- that it will take four years, cost £billions and will have to deal with some massive infrastructure constraints.

Has he started a go fund me for it yet, or will he ask for the tax payers to pay for it again...

Guy is a billionaire, its always about making the tax payer cover it, while ensuring any policies that could benefit actual tax payer that need it get killed.

But, but but... They've changed the manager. Everything is supposed to sort itself out if you just sack your current manager and replace him with someone else! Got nothing to with having half the squad injured for the entire season.

They sacked someone who was stubbornly trying to do things a certain and kept failing. Now they've hired someone who stubbornly wants to do things a different way and the squad is even less equipped to do that.

So what you're saying is that if you replace the manager, you run the risk of ending up no better than you were?

If you build a squad to play a certain style it makes little sense to hire someone who can't make use of it. Or stick with someone who fails to make to best of it.

Nothing wrong with the government supporting the project. We could have done with that originally. As long as there is no government funding as Ratcliffe seemed to expect he should get.

Most of our Cities, and especially our towns should be redeveloped.

There is so much wasted space everywhere little elbows armpits and bum holes of wasteland.
