"Champions of 3rd place, we know what we are"

You should go to Specsavers. This is what I said:

Nothing there about being happy with anything. It's just what I predicted. We've done better in some aspects, and worse in others.
I know what’s there to be seen. “Won’t be disappointed if...”. Revisionist.

Did he actually mean that? Or was the comment designed to play down the "Spurs must win trophy under Poch" narrative? Where would he be if he said it was a must win game and we lost?

In the greater scheme of things, it is important we have champions league football in our new stadium, that we become regulars in the CL. This is what raises money and attracts players. If we can compete on a more level financial basis, trophies will come.

When you look at actions rather than words he did prioritise the cup as he rested players against Burnley and played the strongest outfield team against United.

OK, I can explain it one more time for you. I thought we might get knocked out of CL and drop down to EL, and winning that to get back into CL, would make 5th in the league not feel disappoiting.

If you still don't get it, then I feel sorry for you.

Not to be too dramatic but Poch leaving would quickly see the end of our team challenging at the top end of the table IMHO. His departure would likely spark an exodus of players too which would surely drop us back into the peloton. His departure would be one of the biggest mistakes the club could make and I'm pretty sure Levy sees it like that too.

A few weeks ago everything was good and right with the world - good squad, good manager, good spirit, incredible new stadium on the horizon. Not a lot has changed since then but now I read nothing but finger pointing and blame. There is not a whole lot wrong with Spurs and certainly not enough wrong to warrant the doom and gloom I'm reading on here. This match has just allowed everyone's pet hate a free airing.

Poch will learn. The team will too, they are mostly young. We WILL get into the CL again this year and the finances from the new stadium will bring us to the next level (which hopefully will have trophies on it).

Great post.

That WBA draw yesterday was a real brucie bonus. Puts Liverpool back in reach for both us and Chelsea. Means Klopp really has to set up his team to at least avoid defeat at Chelsea, if they lose that match the gap between them both will probably be down to 2 going into the last day. I am sure he will want to avoid that, which is all good news for us, as a strong Liverpool side has a massive chance of getting something at Chelsea

It was, I agree. Though our main problems are going to be lifting ourselves after the low point of yesterday and getting Kane firing again. Hopefully the fact that we have something meaningful to play for will lift the players - if we didn't have anything left to play for, our last 4 results could have been very poor

Awful management, and he blames the pitch

Agree. The Watford match is will set the tone for the other trio of matches

Play well and win, and i can see us finishing with 10/12 pts. Feel sorry for themselves, huff and puff and snatch a point and I dont see us recovering and struggling to scrape 5pts, although conceivably 4pts might still even be enough

I think if he presides over a collapse that sees us finish 5th then a large portion of the fan base will lose trust imo

If we collapse to 5th it would be right to ask questions. But at this moment that is hypothetical and even if it happened would it totally negate the following ...

It’s not what you said, but I’m bored of your trying to wriggle around it, funny though it is to read.

You're the one trying to add content and views I don't have, to my posts. I'm sick of this. Please, with sugar on top, s*d off.

I think everyone is a bit hurt today. Feelings get high when you are so close to winning a trophy. It’s not like a loss in the league as the FA cup still means a lot to us clearly.

I’m over yesterday and my moaning, although to be fair I embarrassed myself as I got hammered again so apologies for that. Waking up to the red likes or quotes was cringey.
Seeing an arsenal fan today in a shirt made me sad as it reminded me of football.

Just need to beat Watford and everything will be all smiles again.

I have vented, posted and spewed more brick than I have ever done in one day on here. I think it's helped me and I'm almost over yesterday.

So, COYS! and lets finish this season in style!

Fingers crossed that the team feel the same way.

And I got the Navy away shirt for £36 in the sale.

I was just hoping you still wanted to sell your season ticket...:D
