Champions League 2016/17 - Group E: CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco

Good for the team in the sense that we've got an excellent chance of going through.

Bad for the fans. 5 hours in an online queue to buy tickets for three Europa League games....

Yes, of course. I just thought at some point it would be inevitable, that teams from Ukraine and Russia would meet at some point, but then again, there are always draws for each round, it seems, so I guess it could be avoided afterall. And no imminent danger of both teams reaching the final, of course.

UEFA would take action long before that happens and it would have nothing to do with potential trouble.
 
Lovely draw, Monaco of 2016 is hardly the super team of old. CSKA away will be tough, but all in all, lovely draw.
 
Fantastic draw! I'm so happy and lucky again to see Spurs in Russia. And the draw itself looks nice and we should progress to play-off (although the group looks pretty balanced).

I'll post all the needed information and back up about our fixture against CSKA in several days when I return from Bulgaria. By the way, the match will be played on the new CSKA Moscow stadium.
Hopefully somebody from the forum will travel to Moscow. We've got an official supporters Russian fan club with ticket quota and there will be 100+ ppl on the match.

I want to travel to the match, if I can get a ticket & time off work.
 
Monaco and Leverkusen have relatively small stadiums. We're only entitled to roughly 900 and 1500 tickets respectively.
 
That was a little bit of a reality check and a bit meh! Great chance to win the group.

Don't particularly fancy Moscow, wouldn't mind return to Leverkusen after going in Jol's era and missed Monaco last season.

Can we now play at White Hart Lane!
 
Very happy with that draw.

Funnily enough Arsenal and Leceister got decent draws too, all in all, not too bad for England, bit tougher for City but should easily finish 2nd in theirs
