Antonin Kinsky

Good to see an early window signing. He's got a decent show reel online which also shows his ability with his feet, which is clearly one of the appealing elements to his game. Big lad too!
 
I'm so glad we waited until January to do this. Who could have possibly seen the circumstances of our number 1 getting injured, making us have to play an aging veteran who doesn’t suit our style of play, who we gave a new contract to. Absolutely nobody could have predicted that, completely impossible!

Bit odd that Ange categorically said we weren't going to sign another keeper 🤔 plus this coming a day after Austin started and actually looked pretty composed / capable at this level.

All that said, none of that nonsense is this kids fault and he looks good on the youtube, it's a step forward for the readiness of our squad and you cannot argue with progress. Ahoj Kinsky (I'm assuming he is Czech)!

I'm sure everyone at the club would have liked to upgrade Foster, the problem is we don't have an unlimited pot and wasn't a priority - the odds of your first choice keeper getting injured isn't high but now it has become a priority and we have acted accordingly. This clearly isn't a panic buy as he is an 'unknown' who judging by his highlights absolutely suits our style. Not sure what more we could ask for really, good signing I'd say - until it turns out it's not :D....

Good to see us move quickly in January. And if reports are to be trusted moving things forward from the summer when possible rather than panic signing anyone we can get.

Never heard of him, but a sizeable transfer fee for a young GK from a smaller league. Assuming he's highly rated within the club though I hadn't heard of him before the links started popping up.

Assuming he'll get his debut fairly quickly. Solid step up for a young keeper, but such is life.

I do wonder if this was earmarked for the summer. Getting a club to sell their no.1 in January is no small achievement.
 
Just saw video clips of these guy and yeah he is good with his feet. His unique superpower seems to be launching it quick for the striker to chase. Son would love it as would Johnson. But Ange? Will he coach it out of him and insist on playing from the back?
