So why is he keeping a manager that will get his club relegated? Makes no sense. Also why would relegation make him sell. Surely he wants the maximum profit, the worse we do the less the club is worth.

It would do the oppositeAlso why would relegation make him sell. Surely he wants the maximum profit, the worse we do the less the club is worth.
People got what they wanted and he removed himself from footballing decisions? So why is he keeping a manager that will get his club relegated? Makes no sense.
So we stick with him for two more games or so maybe he turns it round picks up the odd result and keeps us safe .
He has to be gone this Summer. We need change he’s not good enough for this league.
Is literally the answer and so obvious. He's shown he can organise a team and defuse toxic brick pretty rapidly. I think he'd do well.
Still though, £15m a season on Iraola's desk tonight and we wont need any caretaker
Oh no, winning the EFL and FA Cups - How on earth would a club as successful as ours ever cope with such achievements.....We stick with because we're in a semifinal. Get to the final and we have to stick with him for that. Win a cup and he gets another season. This is becoming very Many Utd and Ten Hag.
I dont think Bournemouth would accept it though, would they?Is literally the answer and so obvious.
Which is why you know we won't do it.
Would be mental to keep him another season. We stick with because we're in a semifinal. Get to the final and we have to stick with him for that. Win a cup and he gets another season. This is becoming very Many Utd and Ten Hag.

Also they think the new owners will reduce the price of a ticket like its not one of the biggest selling points.Exactly, look at Utd, they got some investment after 20 years of the glazers but they are still there. To think people believe Levy will just go, "yeh I will sell now and reduce the price so I can get out" is quite funny.
You are indeed correct. I can only think Levy is lining someone up, because he must realise we aren't going to win a trophy, and staying up is looking harder and harder. I think it's amazing what an horrific effect a poor manager can have on a club.At the end of the day, 9th Feb, we'll be out of two cups and no points from the Brentford match so hopefully not
I'd rather stay in the Prem than win a poxy trophy.
This guy lucked out at Celtic and fell into our hapless laps, his stats are terrible - yes massive hits on the injury side of things, but he doesn't have a blasted clue. We're not Brazil of the 70's and that's where he is living.
Wtf? No i don't remember. But well done mystic meg. Can tell a managers credentials from a game where we had 9 men and 2 major injuries and actually played really well considering. Hats óff to you. Have a badge or something.
I don’t think people would be livid if a manager didn’t players who are not fit enough to play. And the same people would be livid if they hadn't started. You kind of proved my point.
Actually the fact he tried something different for once last week was at least a sign that he’s adaptable. The fact he failed miserably is to me a sign of the fact he is out of his depth.Bizarre experiment? Looks more like our entire 1st team is injured and those who are not are run into the ground.
Unless you work in the spurs medical team you have no idea the fitness of the likes of Reggie, Moore, Davies etc..it’s easy as fans to say just play x he’s a LB etc. He is clearly protecting the academy players by ensuring enough senior players are also on the pitch to guide them, hardly want to destroy the confidence etc before their career has even started. The fact he has thrown Bergvall/Moore/Gray into the lineups at least shows he plays them when he thinks they are ready.
As for tactics, well he tried to change his tactic in the first half against Everton, the tactic the squad have trained for for the last 18 months and we saw how that went. Face facts the squad is decimated, our players are clearly trying hard so irrespective on whether I think Ange will stay or go (I think he will and perhaps should go in the summer) I would rather support our reserve/academy team and not be setting a mindset of you are getting relegated or that effort they are giving disappears very quickly especially with young players.
Agreed the only reason Ange is still here is:I think there are a few things in Ange’s favour that you allude to.
1. Sacking him now after the most vocal “anti Levy” chants would not be a good look.
2. Levy still gets pelters over sacking Jose before a cup final. To sack a manager who has an injury ravaged squad while he has a one goal lead in a semi final would also be a bad look. Especially when said manager has a history of delivering silverware in his second season.
3. I think Levy genuinely likes Ange. Ange isn’t like many other managers. He’s fairly straightforward and he speaks the same language as business people sometimes. Certainly more so than previous managers.
I think Ange should be fired at this point. But Levy’s PR is in the toilet. The only way that doesn’t get even worse is if Ange is a success.
However, at some point even that becomes no justification for sticking with him. I think we’ve passed that point already but it’s not my opinion that counts here.
