Actually, instead of isolating those three games, let's look at ALL the games this season and do a head to head comparison.
I am replacing Reading with QPR as they were promoted as Championship winners the season before.
Under Harry we obtained 10 points, under AVB we have 14 points from the same fixtures AND a win at Old Trafford, Now i know what i would rather have!

AVB, who could start the 28-year-old against Aston Villa tomorrow, wants the striker to hit the heights of last season when he was on loan at White Hart Lane.
Adebayor struck 18 goals to help Spurs *finish fourth and Villas-Boas wants to see the same again.

Great to know we are now unbeaten in 9 matches in all competitions under AVB. Want to see how that compares with other Spurs managers. IIRC, the longest unbeaten run under Redknapp was being unbeaten in 11 matches in 2010/11 season. It will be interesting if THFC6061 can compile the record for the longest winning run and unbeaten streak etc under previous Spurs managers.
I think for beating ManU alone, AVB deserves to be the Spurs manager for the next season atleast, even if we get relegated this season ! But ofcourse if he does really well this season, you can bet the big boys of world football will try to lure AVB to their team.

IMO, the penalty shoot out loses in Cup matches should be considered as a loss, even if the match end in a draw in full time. Anyway, want to see our unbeaten streak under other managers as well, especially during PL era. IIRC, we went something like 15 matches unbeaten under Gerry Francis or George Graham.

Well of course you're entitled to your opinion but the Laws of the Game state that penalty shoot-outs are not counted as part of a football game's result - it's simply one of many methods that have been used to decide who progresses in a knock-out competition.

Spurs host the Blues on October 20th in their first game after the international break with confidence high after four consecutive Premier League wins.
And the manager insists it is not a personal mission to beat his former club but the aim of everyone at White Hart Lane to get into the top four.
"It's not on an individual sense that I'm looking forward to the match, it's on a collective level," he said.
"When you play the unbeaten leaders of the league, you can use that motivation towards the game.
"It will give us a chance to finally break into the top four and join the elite of the Premier League. That is what we have been wanting for quite some time.
"Chelsea are a tremendous attacking force, something that is surprising everybody. There are a lot of creative players in that team offering all types of solutions, movements.
"We understand this mobility behind Fernando [Torres] can cause you problems. It is going to be a difficult game but we are showing a good level of competence.
"We hope to profit from the fact that we are playing at home and against an unbeaten league leader."
Intense
After a sequence of seven matches in 22 days, Villas-Boas has a two-week wait until he takes on his former club.
But the ex-Porto boss admits the intense run of game - including the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday and a draw at Panathinaikos in midweek - helped forge his players into a team.
"After the first three games, we welcomed the packing of fixtures," he added.
"It allowed the players to meet each other, to play more often. We are getting a benefit from that. Tiredness comes in but it gives you more chance to know how others behave. For almost a new team, it helps the players.
"It was extremely good against Villa after the effort we put in against Panathinaikos in Greece on Thursday.
"We were back at 4am on Friday and the players are responding to the midweek physical effort with tremendous power. The ambition that we have, to be in between the top teams, is immense."

I think we don't have to worry about AVB getting lured away. We gave him his chance when he had a bad experience in this country, and he wants to build something great. I think for him, there's more honour in truly establishing Spurs in the English elite than there is in going somewhere else and carrying on someone else's good work.
