It’s a tad more than an ‘edit’ to the original.
We all edit posts from time to time but it’s good practice to mention ‘edit’ and show what you have edited.

I think for all your angry, ranty posts a lot of what you say about government choices is on the mark but I disagree with your focus on immigration as the be all and end all of evil.

But it is the issue that if goverments continue to ignore, play games with and never address then they will be torn apart at the election by the electorate. Just as the tories were. Labout never won the election, the Tories were just ruthglessly punished.

And I'll say it again, nothing wrong a with well managed and sustainable level of immigration. Too much and it is bad and too little it is bad.

I think the problem is more to do with left calling everyone far right, every time some one brings up the issue of the likes of immigration.

Just as Starmer did regarding the protests. Yes, of course there were people that far right thugs that were rioting, but the majority of protesters were peaceful and concerned about knife crime and genuine concerns regarding mass immigration. Yes, the far thugs tried to highjack it all, but Starmer got the go old labelling brush and royally screwed up. Labelling ordinary people who have concerns as those.

What was more evident, was the complete lack of public calling out of the Muslim rioters, carrying machetes and knives, where was the comdemnationation of these acts? And it all plays into the persona that public have built up... Why only call out white people, but not muslim for doing the same bad thing?

Not so much the opposition as whole, but certainly elements (minority/majority don't know) are able to whip it up, is because the left are usually the one's loading the gun with the ammunition the right wing feed off.

As was said earlier by Glasgow I think, Trump didn;t judge people or something akin to that, he let people be themselves... Where as the left, as shown in both political threads on this forum, the left do that. They just insult, ism, phobe, and refuse to see problems (not all left, but an awful lot)

And it is easier to get your message across, when people don't think your side are a bunch of....

Bothside are playing a game, but left are the ones who constantly shooting themselves in the foot.

But it not, you had one of the writers from the Witcher TV series, spilling the beans that the producer (female activists) hated the original story and litrature becase it was to male centric, and she decided that the show should be more about the female characters, and resulting in the Witcher playing 2nd fiddle in his own show.

You were right. I couldn't be bothered to watch the full 9 minutes of his anecdotal BS waffling. Thought i did well to get to about the 6 minute mark.

He connects dots with no evidence on whether those dots should be joined, beyond him seeing patterns he wants to see. Did Dr Who ratings go down because the writing crew were DEI hires or because they just wrote poor scripts (including the various cis-, hetero-normal, white males in the writing team)? Dr Who crashed in the 90s because??? It wasn't because of progressive policies then. He does also wedge in his belief that Dr Who should be male without explicitly saying that that is part of the problem. The top video is just an opinionated bloke ranting dressing it all up as 'critical thinking' (sounds familiar).

Also spent a short time trawling the various forums that come up when you search woke and the decline of gaming and it seems lots are tinkled off because other people can choose the gender of their character ("woke!!!!") but then the telling line is 'they should concentrate on the narrative and not on these issues' which tends to suggest the game's unpopularity is actually down to it just being a little shyte whether you choose to have a character that identifies as male, female, centaur, chimera or whatever.

Use some reasoning to explain why X caused Y, define your terms, give
an example. Provide any kind of rationale or example of what you mean actually happening. Seriously, just google how to structure an argument. It's really not that difficult.

And we would be closer to the answer, as the issues arises from the not only these insane ideologies that people are rejecting, but the fact that people will shift towards those who have an anti-woke agenda, because they are not calling them rascits, bigots, mysogynists, nazis, fascistists...
