Dude can just rant on about anything and have people cheer for him. Imagine Harris doing anything similar, she would be ridiculed beyond belief. How does he get away with it? He just does it so much no one cares anymore - but vote for the guy? Holy hell, how disillusioned must you be. He's going to run that country into the ground if voted in again.

It is pathetic. Any reasonable and nuanced agency would've evaluated the situation and seen there was progress being made towards fulfilling the 'legal' requirements of keeping these animals, let alone exercised some contextual judgement on the situation as a whole. The nature of the complaints would be interesting to know; who complained? Why do they care so much? Just symptomatic of so much flimflam...

Yes indeed.
It is scarier than people think. The first time he at least had politicians in such slots; tossers and right-wing scumbags for sure, but at least they understood the job. If he gets in this time, it will be yahoo-central because the likes of Bolton and Pence find him disgusting (chew on that for a moment!)...

Yes, and even scarier than that too. There may not be grown ups there to stop him. And after failing in some of their implementation last time they'll be much more prepared, project 2025 is essentially a blueprint being created because they didn't have one last time.

There was a cult of personality back then too, but it's grown much stronger. He was unhinged then, but way more do now. The supreme court was bad then, it's ridiculous now. The checks and balances have weakened and the madness has increased.

May you live in interesting times keeps popping into my head.

Way beyond double standards, into quadruple standards at least by now.

Disillusioned and disinformed. People are not just wrong, as people often are. People have been actively lied to for years and years to create this kind of phenomena. But even the liars being exposed as liars as happened with Fox News and Tucker Carlson doesn't matter anymore.
