I did say Utd v Liverpool a week or so ago, it will consume everyone in the British media and indeed those clubs.

I like our tie, first game away, it could be a classic.
 
Are we cursed?
We drew the first and second placed teams in the League/FA cup, the group of death in our group draw and now the clear favourites and the best team in the competition !
Ffs !! When are we going to get an easy draw!??

On a positive, it must be the game of the round and a real glamour tie in a fantastic, atmospheric stadium.
Oh, wait I forget about the inevitable tossfest between the two has beens.
 
Watched the draw he must have picked up and dropped the last three balls left in the bowl at least ten times,before he decided on us lol....fenerbache/braga were left behind grrrrrrr...

At least we will know where we stand on the Champs League for next season,a good yardstick....COYS...

Wiki says 65K capacity for international matches, which I presume includes European cups as well. Looks like their game against Porto was sold out.

We're only entitled to 5%.

Tough tough draw. But this is what makes European football, including the EL, a lot of fun. :) Can't wait.

This is good for us as
1> they'll be a media circus
2> they'll be forced to take it seriously
3> one of them is going out so in the worst case scenario CL and EL winners from outside the top 4 and we finish fourth is even more remote.....although nothing like that would ever happen to us :)
 
i think our players know it will be hard so they will have to play at a certain level. The danger when you play so called weaker teams is that the players may not play at their highest level and come unstuck.

A shame Ali will miss the game over nothing
 
First hand experience of how much noise can be made from a single tier stand, someone measure the decibel level on it........and hear us smash it in 2018!
