No idea
I just do t think we could play him and senesi together for example because neither is aerially good
And we have players like Micky who defensively leaps like a brick
But they can all pass so well

Its going to be interesting to see what happens, I suppose we are working at keeping the ball for longer periods rather than exposing ourselves to defending for long periods.

In the heydays of Poch who of those 3 would he likely have wanted to use the most in your opinion?
I ask about Poch because he liked CB solidity but also valued the ability for his CBs to play well with the ball on the deck

But in most cases they are not potential, they are cold clear facts gathered by watching the player (on tv/highlights), unquestionable stats (usually with little context) or expert analysis on social media (which is never wrong).

Um no that's just you not liking any non-positive comments

Possibly but my underlying points are valid, many post quote stats and have only seen glimpses of the players on screen. My comments on social media hold a lot of credence as they are frequently referred to.

No one knows how he will perform until we see him in our shirt- until then we're feeding on scraps of information to piece together an idea, both positive & negative

I actually ignore most of them stats because I saw him and he was caught out under crosses twice, one which ended up being a goal, so the "Duels won 3/4" is miss leading.

Before anyone gets upset, thats not me saying he is a bad buy, I am just saying what I saw

I don't think he had a great game defensively, but don't think VVD did either, Netherlands defensively looks suspect.

Yeh saw a twitttr comp of his performance that had everyone salivating and it left the Tunisia goal out lol

Im struggling to get excited about this. Our biggest problem was creating goals and someone to put them in. So we go and Sign three defenders including Two Center Backs when we already have 4 on the books and two coming back from loans. Not including the 5 full backs we now have and Davies.
Maybe you have forgotten that over the last 3 seasons we have shipped over 160 goals. Once I grasped that simple fact it became understandable to me as as to why RDZ decided to improve our central defence.

He isnt elite but he isn’t bad at all
We have Dragusin and Vicario who can’t pass for contrast
If VDV had played on the right of defence as much as Dragusin had played on his wrong side on the left of defence, then everyone’s opinion of their passing would be very different. Neither are great on the ball, but only one had to play most of his games for us on the “wrong” side.

Not talking about anything other than passing here.

Personally, I'd love to see Dragusin at another PL club. I think he is a good box defender and I think he would become that sort of Shawcross dogs of war leader in a Hull, Sunderland or Ipswich side. I reckon someone like Moyes would appreciate him. As you say, Radu would need to be instated on the right and given a brand of football that suits him. He's not the type RDZ is looking for in my opinion and Danso is ahead of him.
