*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion FC ***

Tel, Johnson and sadly Odobert is much of a muchness. None of them is cutting the mustard currently or even look close to being a player we need in that regard. We play Tel, we probably get a similar performance ask for Odobert or Johnson. Play Johnson and we will ask for the other two. The quality just isn't there.
At least Johnson can put the ball in the net. IMHO Tel and Odobert are championship level players. I just cant see what everyone sees in them. As with all players who wear the shirt I hope they come good but so far I just cant see it

Problem Johnson has is that he's not going to out play Kudus into the team, especially with the left wing being a graveyard.

I suppose Frank might try Kudus on the left and Johnson on the right at some point, but again it's a gamble hoping that Johnson will score.

If the rest of his game wasn't so incredibly limited he'd be a starter. We're just not in a position to 'carry' him.

He should try reinvent himself as some Inzaghi type striker.

Brighton were lucky today, I was impressed with our first 7 minutes or whatever and was just about to type that, when Brighton scored on the break.
Minteh is an absolute livewire, one pass and he pounced and finished very well, but Romero should have been on half way rather than playing him onside / or whatever system Frank was trying to play, it was worryingly Ange-like how open we were at that point but to be fair was only 2 inches onside, the VAR image was MIGHTY close.

Then we did OK but they had one half chance or quarter chance and THWACK it sailed in as Vic flapped, which he would usually parry. Dear me, 2-0 down but we had all the play.

We played fine, away at Brighton, and got a point.

Cheatski just got their keeper sent off for a straight red for hacking Mbeumo in the knees. Then took off Estevao to get the other keeper on. Then took off Neto to get a 3rd centre back on. Then conceded due to ratface being 2 inches onside. Then took off Cole Palmer for a child.

COYS. It's a long season. We need to beat Brighton and Bournemouth and Saudi Sportswashing Machine and friends to 5th place at least, so taking points away from Brighton is key. These "non-Europa-teams" are going to be a problem this year.
