*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City ***

So not only did he risk long term injury with Sarr he did so with Richi, a player with a pretty poor injury record and just back from one, he had options on the bench not to do this.

This is one game, how many other times has a players health been risked?
I would say quite often considering the state of our physio room and the people in it

Whoever we bring in still has to play pretty much teh same players as we did today

It’s like giving a carpenter a screw driver and a hammer and say make me a chair
The squad isn't the issue, it's the system and the instructions. Did you see the second goal, when we lost the ball in our own half all three midfielders were ahead of the ball and their Leicester counterparts. Then Davies doesn't come out to challenge and there you go another goal. This systemic, not individual based. The system will always open us up to those kinds of situations, we don't even play with a defensive minded midfielder to help mitigate the risks.

Okay all you armchair experts, here's my solution. I say sack the manager immediately and put all of you collectively in charge instead.

You can then all form one big brilliantly informed management committee and get cracking straight away.

You will solve all our problems at a stroke!. We would then be guaranteed to win every single game from now on, meaning we will finish up top six with 69 points in the PL whilst also winning the Carabao Cup, the FA Cup and best of all the Europa League, thus qualifying for next season's Champions League,

What's not to like? :tongueout::tongueout::tongueout:

I’m pretty sure we’d be higher than 15th.

Yeah I did
I was there
Haven’t seen it back but to me looked like another Porro classic
Arguably our most tired player
For me today like many games recently were not playing Ange ball… not even attempting it
And all the players are fudged
They would still be shattered for a new manager and there is likely to be less of them as they all get injured

Howe had loads of injuries last season and managed to finish 7th and they never looked as bad as we do.

Same with Bournemouth this season and look at how well they're doing.

He's had opportunities to rotate this season and hasn't, he now has to deal with the consequences of that which will hopefully mean him being out of a job

I’m not excusing him
But I don’t see how a new magics up some players
Said in the match thread you could see Sarr was injured
As soon as Richy went off I said it was an injury
He is so fudged and some is his own making
But the lack of depth is the key issue and it ain’t getting fixed

I know you wasn't mate, was just my take on it.

I think we have it bad, the injuries don't help of course, but I don't think we are this bad

They dropped out of European football altogether before the point that we are at now (not by choice but by finishing 4th in their CL group) If we had thrown the Europa a few weeks ago then I think we’d be doing better in the league.

You really believe that? How much further up the table do you think we'd be? I'd say even if we were 10th that would be a bad season

The injuries they had weren’t at the same time in the same positions
I’m not making excuses because he has made calls
But it’s not the same factually

Factually it's the same, they had 11 players out more than once and lost a total of 1950 days to player injuries. Yet they still finished 7th.
