It's also not obvious why we need Zaha. We have 5 senior players for the 3 positions behind the CF (EL, CE, DA, HMS plus Nkoudou) supported by two kids (Onomah and Edwards), which is plenty. So unless we're selling Son, or want Zaha to be a 3rd choice CF, then I dont see why we want him.

I'd rather we sign a decent back-up for Dembele - far more pressing need, or a young, 3rd choice CF

Hmm...why would he like to wind up Parish though? And who else has he 'wound up' in your opinion and why?
 
Tottenham have increased their Wilfried Zaha bid to £18million following the sale of Nacer Chadli to West Brom on Monday.

However, HITC claims Palace are ‘not even considering’ the latest move from Spurs having already shunned a £12million bid from their London rivals last week.

Palace manager Alan Pardew had his say on Zaha’s future on Monday and was firm in his stance on his future.

Indeed, having sold Yannick Bolasie to Everton in a deal worth an initial £25million – rising to in excess of £30million – it is claimed that Spurs are going to have to get nearer to that sort of offer for Palace to entertain letting the 23-year-old England international leave the club.

OK. Cards on the table. I would take Zaha. I think there's a player there and I think Poch can find him with considerable ease. Don't ask me how much I'd pay, and don't suggest for one moment I am softening the Isco-no-no with this comment (!!!!!!) but I DO see a player in there for sure...

I'd take him in a flash. Perfect player for Poch to take to the next level, like he's done with so many of ours already.
 
I couldnt rate him any less, think he's awful - no end product no composure just runs in to blind alleys and falls over the ball/in to people - will back him if he comes but until then I'm hoping it's all some kind of sick joke
