That injury could have cost Spurs a small chunk of money. If he's not ready for sale by Jan we'll be getting nothing for him.
Only small. He can sign for free on a pre-contract with a foreign club, whilst I doubt we'd get more than £4-5m from within the EPL for someone in the last 6 months of his contract.
That was a poor tackle from behind so I think that was a rather ignorant comment from you.Shock horror, he can now safely put his feet up until after Christmas.

Yes I'm as ignorant as the employee is of of time and what the attitude and performance that is expected from a highly paid player at this club is. He's a player with virtually all the attributes to be one of the best in the game but rarely uses them, I have no time for people who waste such talent and the opportunity that most of would give anything for.
That's not the argument though is it. Shock horror alludes to him wanting it to happen. Which is clearly not something anyone knows and highly unlikely. His punctuality isn't even a debate. He's clearly got issues there.
Ive never seen anything in his character to suggest he isnt fully committed or ambitious. There's been a few foolish off pitch incidents, but he's hardly a David Bentley. He was magnificent for us in the EL final just 5 months agoI feel he wouldn't be that disappointed to miss out on playing any more games for us, a nice transfer to somewhere on the Med with a club with little ambition seems the ideal solution for him.

Do you honestly believe he has produced consistent performances a player with his obvious talent should? Half a dozen good games does not impress me but if that what his fans are happy with so be it.
I'd say, other than being edged by Bentancur, he's been our most important CM since Dembele.
Sarr, Bergvall and Gray will well exceed him, but he was the best we had in a poor period (2019-25).
Who would you suggest was better then - Sissoko, Winks, Skipp or Hojbjerg?I'm wordless

I still have good memories of him helping Spurs win the Europa. At his best Bissouma was very good for us. Injuries and inconsistency made him an unreliable option, and that's why we should move him on. We need better options (and have them now).
Feel sorry for him getting injured, though. Hope for his sake it's not as serious as it looked.
I should hope so...... you're not that old!I still have good memories of him helping Spurs win the Europa.
