That’s what happens when you turn up late.
Was just about to post this! Seems to be taking it well…

Posting this isn’t exactly a smart thing to do either. Bloke seems to be intent on putting the boot into any career progression.
Yeh, seems petty.....no need for it, those that need to know he was there would know. It's showing offPosting this isn’t exactly a smart thing to do either. Bloke seems to be intent on putting the boot into any career progression.
Another reason why Frank shouldn’t have made it public
Need to see the timestamp on the photoUnless he's tying to say, look i still turned up to training even though nobody was here.

Problem is, these days, everything that goes on is forensically examined by the press. The question would have been asked about why Biss was missing from the squad and then TF would have had to lie. He chose to be honest which I think is fair enough.Another reason why Frank shouldn’t have made it public
Absolutely.Who knows? None of us do.
And Just to be clear my original comment wasn’t strictly serious…
Yup. The smart thing would have a photo of him putting the work in.Unless he's tying to say, look i still turned up to training even though nobody was here.
I have to ask this, (not particularly aimed at you) - does it really matter? Is what he posted of an empty gym really a big deal either way?Yup. The smart thing would have a photo of him putting the work in.
But I'm not he is a smart thing kinda guy
Absolutely it does.I have to ask this, (not particularly aimed at you) - does it really matter? Is what he posted of an empty gym really a big deal either way?
If he had posted a photo of him working out, would that have changed anyone's perception of him? Seriously doubt it, people would just be saying too little too late or whatever.
I must say, I don't get the point of him posting that pic but at the same time I really don't see what the big deal is about it either....
Absolutely it does.
It's an active choice of expression.
A picture of him working out would have been a positive action - a show of "I got it wrong, I'm going to put the effort in". Not being on time regularly is disrespectful to his manager, teammates, club and fans.
He's made an active choice to make a post - he gets to show what's in that post. Social media is a story for lots of people these days; his response to being shown up is to post what he's posted. A photo is a statement just as much as words are.
The smart thing would have been to post and say nothing. But he chose to post something. Anything other than an apology or an act of determination to right his wrong is a poor choice, and therefore a poor message.
I guess it's just my attitude towards social media in general, but to me posting a picture of you working out at the gym is not acknowledgement of getting it wrong and showing you're going to put the effort in. That, like any picture on social media shows a split second - if he wants to demonstrate putting in effort he does that on the pitch and in training. Nothing he does on SM makes an impact on that area.Absolutely it does.

Is he a complete idiot?
