WWE Thread

It was incredibly predictable.

Rock was NEVER going to lose, no way would he agree to come back if it meant losing at wrestlemania.

The only positive i can see to cena losing is that he can become a fan favourite again, no doubt there will be a show of mutual respect for eachother tonight on Raw.

Cena was favourite with all the bookies and most wrestling fans. Rock gains nothing winning that match whilst Cena is still an active WWE Wrestler and would have actually gained something going over The rock at the main event of Wrestlemania. Cena is a face already (fan favourite)...the only good thing that can happen is if he fully turns heel tonight.

Cena is the biggest face in the company that still gets booed by all the die-hards lol always makes me laugh.

Massive face's going heel can be fantastic when done right, all you need to do is look at Hogan and the nWo to see it done to perfection.

It took a while to get going, I'm still steaming about Sheamus-Bryan, I wonder if Bryan has picked up an injury? But Taker-Trips sparked it into life, Punk-Jericho was a high quality enjoyable match that was so hard to call, hope they meet at Extreme Rules, though it will probably be a horrible gimmick match. Rock-Cena was an electric match, with all their best moves thrown in and was very enjoyable. The only other match that was reasonable was the Rhodes-Show one, the GM match had a couple of decent spots but was a mess otherwise, Kane-Orton had me falling asleep, the divas match was a typical divas match of this era.
What happened to the 3 way tag team match?

It needs a massive revival!
There was a period when I loved the Tag Team Championship more than the WWE, World Heavyweight, Intercontinental Championships etc.
Anything involving Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz, Edge and Christian... those were the greatest matches that I looked forward to!

The 3 greatest teams in WWE history, but it was the greatest era for nearly all the titles

Those were the last great tag teams, had great fueds, those TLC matches were fantastic.

Road Dogg and Billy Gunn were also pretty awesome back in the day.

Even further back, The Hart Foundation, British Bulldogs, The Rockers, Nasty Boys, Legion of Doom, Godwins, Smoking Gunns.

Well hopefully The Rock fudges off back to Hollywood instead of coming back to Raw every 10 months and chatting breeze behind a microphone instead of actually wrestling. All that fame has got to his head, he created this 'Rocky' character and has decided to actually become him.

nah i fudged up and lost ?ú25. Rock and Kane won which were both surprises.

Lesnar will probably be on Raw tonight i'm guessing.

wait, wait, wait, wait, woah, hold on a second, wait.. you can place bets on a 'sport' in which the result is pre-determined well before the event actually takes place?

dat brick proper departed yo. and yo departed for betting on it boi.

John cena isnt going to get a break is he? :ross:

He was just winning over the fans again when out comes Brock Lesnar and F-5s him.

fudge me man that Raw was one of the best RAWs since the attitude era. The miami crowd was one of the most vocal crowds i've ever heard and the show didn't dissapoint.

1) Lesnar returning and hitting the F5 on Cena

2) The Rock stating he will be WWE champ one day.

3) Lord Tensai (A train) and Alberto del rio returning (not a fan of either tbh but still)

4) Daniel Bryan chants the whole night

5) Jericho pouring whiskey on Punk

Such a brilliant raw.

Insane! Best chants I've heard from a WWE crowd in years.
"YES YES YES YES..." then later "SI SI SI SI..." then later "HOLY SH*T HOLY SH*T HOLY SH*T HOLY SH*T..."
:ross:

It's obvious that Sheamus is picking up heat because everyone wanted to see (what could have easily been) an epic battle between him and Daniel Bryan.
WWE could be entering a new attitude era...
