Sanchez looks marginally better in a higher line as he has some pace and can make tackles, the issue is in one on one face up situations he turns like he’s got an ironing board down the front of his shirt and in possession he treats the ball like a hand grenade. I’m not an advocate of playing it around at the back but his technique is so poor his clearances can put us into trouble too. He’s also capable of coming off second best to a shoulder barge he’s initiated.
My patience is even thinner with him as he has been here a few years and worked with Toby and Jan during this period and is showing little signs of improving the weaknesses I see above. I say this as someone who thought he was unlucky to be dropped for Dier post ban and thought his pace would be a better as a partner for Dier or Toby.
Agree wth most of that. Ability on the ball and strength are major flaws in his game. I still think Dier is our best CB and whether I'd pair him with Toby or Sanchez would probably depend on who we were playing and whether we were going to play with a high line or deep. We could really do with signing a new CB this window though and none of those 3 inspire any confidence

Jose has spoken about having too big a squad. Aurier looks like he might be off to Spartak Moscow, Foyth and Rose I think are nailed on to leave, Dele might be sacrificed given he doesnt seem to fit with Jose's formations, is Gazza needed etc? Thats over £80m in proceeds

Can’t comment if officially but from my observations having traveled to a lot of countries to watch football
We dont have the far right element at football grounds that exists almost everywhere in one club or another
A big thing is we try to address the issues to stop them. We’re not perfect over here but we’re much better than other countries. Hence why our non white players have so many issues when England play away

A lot of non-white players go to Russia, whether South American or African origin

I think Levy's made the decision to back Jose (tinkle or get off the pot as they say), 30M for Reguilon (not a priority position) shows it.
As others have said, Rose, Foyth, Aurier, Gazza and maybe even Dele may go, especially if they would take payments, could see it happening
@billyiddo don't worry, think CB is still on the list, the agents and club mouthpieces all seem to be saying same thing, two more in, ST & CB
