Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

It was clearly a dig at an ex players recent comments but yes I am aware that Celtic did win a domestic treble last season. And 4 out of the last 6 seasons before that.

And winning leagues in japan and aus. Winning an international trophie with aus.

He has been successful.

I am not stating he hasn't, as I said it was a dig at an ex player.

I am very aware of Ange's achievements, although I assumed the 2023 award was based on the last 12 months rather than career to date.

It seems you are intent in taking a tongue in cheek comment as an ill
Informed denigration of our managers achievements.

So to be clear I am a big fan and was supportive of his appointment based on these achievements. I've always taken the stance that a manager should be judged on the use of the resources they have and how they perform against expectation, rather than maintaining the status quo of the wealthiest club in the league winning that league.

Just in case that last comment is a dig against Ange too it isn't, it's a dig at Pep and a couple of coaches who failed here.

Relax. I'm not having a dig at you.

Very impressed with our new coach.
Very brave and attractive football. I hope he keeps building up positive credit/vibes for when we have a downturn in results; our best coaches have been able to ride bad results as people remember the good stuff more; Poch's moment for this i felt was the Chelsea 5-3 on NYD 2015, one might say (hope) for Ange it was the Man Utd game.

What will be interesting to see is how pragmatic he can be when he goes up against an opponent like Emirates Marketing Project or even Arsenal away when the opposition would be clear favorites to win or have a clearly better team/squad. Poch in his first season was certainly pragmatic in his first NLD away at the emirates when Chadli scored; a well-earned point on that day, whilst others we were more brave. To me that was the sign of a manager that had principles but was also not stupid.
GREAT start given everything, including losing our greatest ever scorer - and notwithstanding the very disappointing league cup exit:-( .

Now, please Spurs and Ange, don't become all Spurzy after we've won both of the 'monthly' awards!
Welcome Ange.

Hopefully we trust ourselves and give them a worry. Bit like the Redknapp days. The 4-4 and 3-2 as underdogs at Highbury were joy
