Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

This is a bizarre conversation.
You can celebrate and be happy and still comment about your reservations particularly on a thread about the manager.

Supporting spurs is not confined to the words you type on a thread on a website

I agree. Totally bizarre.

Telling other people how to think and feel doesn't work for me. It's like being offended on someone else's behalf.

Think it is just a personality thing - some like to whinge more than others, some have a more positive outlook in all forms of life etc hence why there are always going to be debates on this forum which is obviously a good thing for balance.

But there is a small portion on here that have gone in so hard for Ange that regardless of result they still have to bang on about the same boring subject of getting rid of him right after and it is actually sad to see. In what has been an undeniably poor season just enjoy the positive nights in Europe we have without reverting to 'Yeah but he still has to go'. Just worry about that nonsense at the end of the season and enjoy the European ride while we still can....

I think the opposite also applies. There is a minority that go in so hard on protecting Ange when the toughest results come along. It balances the forum in my mind. Of course, we don't perceive those posters as badly as the ones on Ange's case. They are apparently the positive ones whereas the Ange out phalanx are the negative ones. In reality, they are both positive because every fan that writes anything just wants the best for the club they support.

I'm talking about after a nice win in Europe - the debate about Ange is never ending, whether you're in the Ange in or out camp, why does it have to be turned back into that debate right after a good win? Just enjoy the night, it's been clear he's not going anywhere this season for a while so just suck it up and enjoy the EL rollercoaster....
