Do you know why I think they are …
They are CFs
They have played there their whole career
Then add in that they have managed whole seasons playing that position
If Richy can stay fit… and his record here is an if… he can get a goal a game
But he can’t even get to pre season so far. That’s a huge worry
And judging by the links the club see it too
That spell he had last year was great. That’s what we need

Fair enough as we know it s all about opinions so in this case we will have to agree to disagree.

Toney played most of his football in league one, and hardly set that on fire.

Solanke has a better record in the championship, but not by much.

If Richarlison was still at Everton, he'd be the pick of the three by a mile.

If he stayed fit
But he would have half the goals he scored here
I like him. But as I’ve repeated his injuries are scary. If he can stay fit and average an availability of 80-90 percent then we have a player
We need a CF fit for every game and we can’t just have Richy as the option
Son can play there against teams that attack us… so that’s about 4 teams
Richy and him will also need rest
That’s why we have to have at least one more option with experience and quality
Toney has gone up the leagues and dealt with set backs
So has Solanke
Both would be really good options
Toney at Peterborough and Brentford is on better than a goal a game I believe. You might think that’s not setting the world alight but again, I’d refer to who he is playing for
 
I'm happy to stick with what we have , play the kids , and continue selling players and wait a bit more for the right player at the right price. Tony and Solanke are too expensive.
 
Anyone saw the Rio Ferdinand show 'Behind The lines' with Ange just now on TNT? Really really interesting, and Ange went into quite a bit of detail on how we play and why we do it like that! Really worth a watch!
