I thought the rebound from Dier's free-kick was *the* moment, tbh. It came too fast for him to control it (bobbled around him and was cleared, iirc), but if the fates had been on his side, he'd have stuck his bum out and sent it in.
He had nothing to work with today, so it's hard to pin any blame on him. Didn't create much by himself either, but then, the level to which the rest our lads sunk probably meant that he was pretty discouraged himself.
Anyone think we should go back to Dier and Dembele in the middle again which was more successful for us last year not saying I think Wanyama hasnt played well
There was nothing wrong after the Chelsea game last season. Once the big prize is gone, it's gone. There is something wrong in the group thats for sure. But we will never truly know and that's if anybody really does. So I look at what has changed it's the only logical thing to do.
But it could be anything.
Lets not forget we have to go back to April, that was the time it started to go wrong.

We want them to keep showing up, to finish above Arsenal et al, but the players aren't thinking that. they were not being weak. Their fire for the title was well and truly extinguished after burning fiercely all season. It's a bitter pill, you lose interest as your hopes have gone.....it's human nature.
Do you mean the after Chelsea bit or the West Brom draw and Chelsea game?I have to disagree - we bottled it. That is understandable 'a little' because we are a relatively young squad.

What'd did we bottle?
We were never top at any point last season
We always played after the team that were top so never had that chance to get ahead
We were the only team to give the mighty Leicester a run for their money
Surely the bottlers were those that were top and failed???
I'm in the 'bottled it' camp your in the 'plucky young team' camp. We will leave it there.

Fair dues - If we were veer top and didn't win it I would agree
Arsenal were favourites and went top and had game stop stay top... they bottled it
City bottle did after we beat them as they were broken
We currently look broken IMO
We didn't bottle the league but we definitely bottled 2nd place.
Spot on and deeply concerning.
Levy has got some really top plans for this club and my fear is we are going to jeopardise them to some extent with our current horrible form.
Oh don't bottle it @StephenH ...just one month ago you were delivering all over your computer screen as we ripped up City.
We need to give it a little longer to see if we can sink even lower. Poch has a few brownie points in the bank and rightly so, we all had lovely things to say about him last season.
Where am I bottling it?
Loved the City result, what right minded Spurs fan would not. But that's history. Poch has only one problem, that is what his boss thinks. Not what you or I think.
This is not a forgiving industry and Poch can thank his lucky stars the Mourinho is making a pig's ear of things. He will be compared to his fellow managers no matter how much he wont like ATM its human nature.
But lets see what Sunday brings.........
I was (rather lamely) connecting our other debate about the players 'bottling' it, and suggesting that you were 'bottling' it regarding the faith in the team and manager.
IMO a bit early for being 'deeply concerned' and Levys grand plans imploding
We're 1 month on from City and 3 pts off the top.
Levy will not get rid of Poch.
Out of a list possible issues....what's your guess on what's going on?
As for Sissoko, i may well be on-board with you shortly
