Most crosses are brick, that's why most decent teams don't use it as a primary method of attack.
Janssen could perhaps be a love-seat adjacent to the sofa? @thfcsteff , as the in house interior decorator, what sayest thou?
I wouldnt say we did that against Watford.
I would say Llorente works well off of crosses, and that we offered him virtually nothing to work with - which isnt his fault like you seem to suggest.
That wasn't the case against Watford. We put plenty of crosses in and our game suffered as a result. Llorente is not good enough for us to change our game to accommodate.
Whether its him not good enough for us to change our game to accommodate him, or just us not crossing to him, my point remains - Janssen and Llorente are equally ill-suited to us (though arguably Janssen might be better given he's a better finisher)
I don't think that Janssen's game is unsuited to us, it's just his performances haven't been good enough.
Janssen a better finisher than Llorente? Where? when? What’s the evidence for that claim?Whether its him not good enough for us to change our game to accommodate him, or just us not crossing to him, my point remains - Janssen and Llorente are equally ill-suited to us (though arguably Janssen might be better given he's a better finisher)
each to his own - to me his strength is hold up play, which is more use to a lower half team, and his weakness is his movement, which is what the likes of Kane/Son/Dele bring us
Disagree, I’ve seen him feature for Holland a good few times over the past couple of years and he was good in an improved and flutent Holland team. He looked far more at home in our system than Llorente ever has, but unfortunately never had his scoring boots on....each to his own - to me his strength is hold up play, which is more use to a lower half team, and his weakness is his movement, which is what the likes of Kane/Son/Dele bring us

But if a striker had 2 or 3 good seasons they're £70m.Hold up play is useful when you have players like Son, Dele and Eriksen looking to overlap. Llorente would be a lot more useful if he could bring others into play. I think Janssen's movement suffered as his confidence went. My biggest criticism of his signing is buying a player off the back of one good season.

Reminds me of Clint Dempsey.
