They really are an insufferable, sanctimonious bunch of clams. It's like a cult between all the melodramatic tributes and comments about van Dijk. You'd swear he'd been killed. Then Wijnaldum whinging that Everton are too rough. Get out ta fudge.

I can't stand them. They are a blight on football and society. Any club peddling "it means more" when they win something needs taking down a peg or ten.

Boris should nuke the place.

They are insufferable ..

To me, the tackle on VVD is no worse than Shaw's on Lucas, outside of the outcome ..

In both cases, the ref, VAR and the FA's post game reaction is nothing but bottling it and hiding behind flimflam ..

I’d say Shaws was way worse, he intentionally hit Moura, Porkins was just trying to make himself as big as possible to block an attempt on goal.
 
Also, had van Dijk not been intentionally cheating, by being knowingly offside, he’d have been a yard further back and out of Pickfords range when the ball arrived.

If I believed in karma this would be a big old hit of it.
