Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

If there's no space to run in it doesn't matter how fast you are. As long as the brick teams stay disciplined, Liverpool will come unstuck.
They only really do well against the teams that are significantly better than them - the ones who attack because they're expected to win. Like us.

So, was it a red? I think so. Arguement against red is Mane didn't see the keeper and was going for the ball. I call flimflam. If you watch his run from the beginning, you can see he has his head up and sees the goalie coming out, then he puts his head down and runs for it eventually putting his boot up. He knew the keeper was in the challenge.

Liverpool will finish 6th. Turd team. Dislikeable manager and THE OX is brick.

Just seen Klopp's comments questioning whether it was a red card. What a c0ck. The rule says that its a red card if it endangers someone else's safety....running in at full pace and jumping with your boot at head high can only be seen as putting the opponent in danger

Always though the guy was a tool; this confirms it

Said for about a year now the guy is a charlatan. Knows nothing about a defence and tries to cover it up by jumping around on the sideline like he's been diagnosed with ADHD.

Great motivator, knows fudge all about tactics

One way of looking at it is, if it was the other way round and the keeper came out and did that to Mane, it would be classed outrageous and obvious red.

Why should it be any different this way round? It shouldn't.

We haven't strengthened the squad full stop though. Everyone was expecting us to bring in five or six players to add depth.

We have brought in Salah as a starter and AOC, Robertson and Solanke as squad players but offloaded Origi, Lucas, Stewart and Sakho. Then you look at the players we brought in Salah because Roma had to sell because off FFP, AOC because he was in the last year of his deal, Robertson from a relegated side and Solanke because he was out of contract.

The recruitment side of the Club isn't right and until that changes we aren't going to be able to compete on all fronts.

Someone has finally seen the light.

and this is because you know it was a red Jurgen

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he will not be appealing against Sadio Mane's red card from the 5-0 defeat, saying it would be "another waste of time, like the game"

No brick it's a waste of time! I don't think I've ever seen a clearer red in the Premier League. Doesn't matter if he didn't see the keeper, he fudging kicked him in the face! I don't know if Klopp is semi-departed or just very emotional, but if you don't understand that's a red, you must be lacking some understanding of the rules. How the fudge can he dispute that? A kick in the bloody face. "He didn't see the keeper". Uhm, what? He's basically running straight at the fudging guy, how could he not see him?

Can't believe there are people out there who think it isn't a red. Incredible!
All this "he was looking at the ball" nonsense. That maybe so but he has a peripheral vision, he knows the keeper is coming. If he didn't see the goalie then why is he flying in to get the ball in that fashion? He knew the risk, dangerous play, red card all day long.
If you go in studs up, focused on the ball at shin level then everyone agrees it's a red, certainly shouldn't be any different because he kicks him in the face.

Exactly.
When youre a forward and the ball gets played through like that, if the keeper isn't coming you don't fly off the ground and put your leading leg 6ft in the air trying to reach the ball, you let the ball continue its path and you run on to it.

The only thing that forces you to do what Mane did, is the keeper is on his way. And if you don't get there (even by a split second) it obviously dangerous and you gotta go.
