UEFA Nations League

I know I’ve said this before but Martin Tyler when he doesn’t have his encyclopedia of negative events impacting Tottenham to hand, he really does just spout absolute drivel. Not in the nice way cricket commentators do, just inane, monotonous drivel. It’s like he is paid for every word he utters or is uncomfortable with any silence. A massive case of verbal diarrhea.

Same old tactics.
Whilst I understand the logic of staying in the game with only 10 men where's the endeavour to try something new?
Go 3 at the back and keep 4 in midfield with 2 up top or 3-4-1-1 with someone like Grealish behind Kane being creative. Dull.

Jamie Redknapp prattling on, what a clam. "You dutch like to be honest" ... Uh yeah would you prefer he tell lies? You prick. Go on Rafa.

English pundits (especially former England players) are always protective of English players. They’ll never really go after them like they criticise foreign players such as Pogba or David Luiz. I think even someone like Pickford would get more stick if he wasn’t English. He’s probably Everton’s weakest link.

If I was Grealish I'd cut my throat rather than turn up for England and watch a bunch of donkeys toil away in midfield why I'm getting piles. The game was crying out for him and Ings and we get Henderson and Sancho doing his invisible man act. I can only think Maguire has been told to play in midfield in these games as he spend all his time there

This 'tournament" is an absolute joke. I fail to see what it brings to anyone, save confirmation that the likes of Maguire are utterly pony, but I'd rather that wasn't spotlit so heavily and Man U soldiered on with him for a while longer.

While I'm here, what does Southgate think he's doing playing Kane tonight? Does he think it was warranted? And if he WAS playing him, how about playing a midfielder who might stand half a chance of fudging finding him with a supply line or two?!!!

Maguire is pony, Southgate is a macaron, England still play names (especially ones from big clubs) over form players, play injured players too early, and never worry about the balance of the team (back to making sure names are there before anything else)

Go back 20 years .. was the same brick then, probably same brick in another 20 years ..

Exactly.

And that's why it means nothing to me anymore.

Same here.
The day Steve McClaren was appointed was the day it died for me. Detached completely from the day after.

I love watching the World Cup and Euros as I love football. But if England do well or not , I'm indifferent too. Even if we have some of our guys in the team (and even the captain) do I want us to do well for them? Not really.

I just want them to do well for us.

I started to turn away from it when the man before McClaren was in charge, it became a circus under Sven and the whole GoldenBalls era was gonads for me.
