Treatment Table

Physioroom has Bale, Lennon, Gallas and Defoe all back for the City Game.

Dont think that website has any credibility in terms of its accuracy though does it? They'll just be basing their info on the club statement the day after the Basel first leg saying that they'll be back in training within 2 weeks. At the end of the day, that website is probably just compiled by some spotty teenager being paid minimum wage to trawl news sources etc for updates on players, rather than being based on any accuate, inside track.

The players had a few days off after Basel and return to training tomorrow - guess we might hear comments coming out over the next couple days, particularly if positive

Aaron LennonAaron Lennon has returned to training and could face Wigan at the DW Stadium after shaking off his knee injury.

Lennon has not played for three weeks after piking up a knee injury in the Europa League clash with Basle but he has now returned to training, raising hopes that he will make his comeback at Wigan on Saturday.

The 26-year-old sat out last weekend’s 3-1 win over Emirates Marketing Project after failing a fitness test, but he took part in training with the rest of the Tottenham squad on Wednesday and hopes are high that he will play against the Latics.

His return would be a big boost for Tottenham, who lacked width against City, and they cannot afford to drop points in the race for Champions League places.

it's a shame about big younes :( ..

supposedly one of the hardest parts of recovering from a knee reconstruction is getting your hammies strong again, as they graft bits of them to repair the damaged knee.. it's a viscous cycle. hope he gets through it.

For a professional footballer it shouldn't be an issue. They get constant medical care, massages, warm ups, strengthening etc. He'll be back to normal by the start of next season.

Probably a good thing its gone now, not going to be tempted to rush him back to soon and can come back raring to go next season.
