Transfer Thread

Become a starter at a top half club, won a european trophy, been called up to the national team and won caps
Anyone who goes and plays at Sevilla will win a EL, medals mean fudge all, you see him being thrown about like a child every time he plays. He is not good enough for the premier league. He will not be a starter at any top half club in the Premier league.

By selling someone. If toney is £80m on a 5 year deal. They only need to sell a player for £16m to balance the books (not including his wages).
Not if they are already at the limits due to spending already in the same year
It’s why Arsenal couldnt buy Reya in the summer

But there is also an article in the independent that says theh need to sell £160m to spend £100m

Which rules are we talking? Prem or uefa. Uefa this year drops from 90% of trurnover to 80% that can be spent on amortisation, wages and agents fees. But still it is amortisation. So they wouldn't have to sell £160m to spend £100m. They are not in europe anyway so will only become an issue if they qualify.
Prem rules are over 3 years so they might have to balance the books. But those rules change in the summer anyway, to be more in line with uefas.
