D'ont start that again for gods sake.

This is a great article, explaining his troubled past with family issues, abuse, trouble at school, clubs, socially, needing a special life coach Leenders... then his flash lifestyle and celeb friends... might be a nice guy, might be a very problematic Balotelli type

He was the best player in the Dutch league the season before he moved by all accounts.I didn't watch him obviously but his highlights reel from that season is fairly incredible. I'm not sure that could be described as a flash in the pan but I get your point. Whether he has the commitment and self control to be a Spurs player under Poch I don't know but I do think it is worth a gamble for the right money. I didn't think Sissoko fitted the Spurs template either and they pulled the trigger on that deal rather surpisingly, so who knows.Thought Depay was a flash in the pan back when we were linked initially and haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise since he has been at United

whatever happened to the loan with a right to buy?
If he is crap we dont have to buy. Of course that did not really work with ade as he put it on for the loan period. But you would still get an idea as to what type of player and person he was.
If he is better than those we have then I don't see the problem. Poch has already shown he can be ruthless with his own signings if need be.If Depay came in then Poch/Levy would either have to swallow their pride and sell Sissoko, or loan out GKN. Otherwise we'd have 7 senior players for the 3 positions behind the CF
Has he been in papers at all? Honestly I can't remember anything really like that. Our own Alli gets more off field headlines than this guy. I would be more worried with his work ethic and willingness to try force himself into contention for a first team starting spot. What goes on a Utd is somewhat baffling at times so I wouldn't judge him too harshly for not starting more there. I'm sure Levy could flip him on for a small profit/loss if need be anyway,Got me thinking. Where is Macheda now?
Is Janusjaz at Sunderland on loan or permanent?
Is Lingaard going to make it?
I would worry Depay is a billy big time Charlie out on the town buying Cristal and getting his Rolls Royce chromed. Requiring a lot of special attention each day. Not what Poch needs.
Mind you I thought that about Kevin the fresh prince Boateng and he did OK at Milan
Man U aren't any better than us. If they don't want him, why would we?
That's what they said when we appointed AVB.Is that really rational? He may not simply fit into the system that they play. Or they may not have the patience to develop and help him progress.

Shame we spunked £30m on Sissoko as we could've used this money to get him inEverton seem open to sell Barkley, I would imagine the relationship between manager and player is now completely gone.
