Fazio good in the air, but terrible with his feet.

Carroll, Chadli & Townsend Disappointing

Wimmer & Tripper did OK

Rose had a blinder.
 
Hmmm, 2 starts for Vorm and 2 losses whilst Fazio played like Ginger Pele tonight.

Otherwise quite a decent performance from our reserves IMHO and Kane very unlucky to not get off the mark for the season.
 
Not a lot in that game was always going to be team who made least mistakes, couldnt capitalise on early second half dominance.

Fazio needs replacing
Vorm needs replacing (shame)
Carroll i think has had his chance and needs replacing
Plus a new striker

Annoying more than p***d off, would rather have a run at Europa and not sure we can go on 4 fronts

It's only the league cup so not as fussed as I normally would be, but I just hate to lose to those scum bags. Especially when it's due to a ridiculously unlikely goal that the guy won't score ever again. So it hurts a little right now, but I have to say that I really wasn't impressed with anyone in our side today bar Danny Rose. Kane was unlucky yes, but he still looks like as soon as he gets a chance to score he just loses his nerve. Shame. Could and should have won tonight. Roll on City this weekend.

Said at half time, you can't give players a run and expect to beat a team like Arsenal.

Fazio isn't a bad player. He was utterly terrible tonight. But it was his first game of the season. Ease him in with a home draw VS Carlisle. Not Arsenal in a Derby.

I think a lot of players let themselves down tonight. Vorm and Fazio you'd think would be my worse culprits but they shouldn't have been picked if we wanted to win. Dier I thought was poor and failed to live up to the hype of recent games. I still think he's a great shout for us in midfield but he didn't show it tonight. Townsend was just ineffectual and I don't think he'll ever work well with us. Son was really bad when he came on.

Props to Rose, Wimmer, Trippier and Carrol IMO. Unsurprisingly they all had their first run in the EL so we're more ready for this. Selecting Vorm and Fazio tonight effectively just threw the game, but I don't put all the blame on them.

He kept losing the ball. Wonder what his pass completion rate was. He was useless!

Interesting. I was worried when he tried to use his right to cross it and just shanked it off the pitch, rather than simply using his left... then he tried to shoot with his left and was closer to hitting the benches than hitting the goal... but if you say he's very good, that is pleasing.

I thought Son had very little impact, was weak and not up to speed, VERY weak for their second goal, just dangled a leg out like Dier did for the first goal... weak weak weak.

Did pick up 15 mins either side of the goal, but overall not enough urgency compared to a normal NL derby for me.

Slow pressing and not much support up front. Would expect with 55% possession to have more than 4 shots on target.
 
Fazio and Vorm were not good. Fazio did well in the air. Him with the ball at his feet is a disaster.

Arsenals fringe players bar Flamini's goals were pants
