The players we have on the pitch should have more than enough quality to beat Rochdale, and they probably will. It’s half time, it’s the cup, let’s not over react. I’d also much rather we kept our preferred players fit for PL and CL given how competitive that will be.

I think most of the players have looked good, it just hasn’t quite clicked yet. Really liking how Foyth has grown as the season has gone on. Wanyama has been quite poor, the goal was a bad mistake from Winks and Son is having one of those games where he can’t make the simple decisions well. But otherwise, we’re looking ok and will probably win.

This season no we aren't going to win the league and if we're going to win the CL we're going to have beat City or someone equally as good, same as in the FA Cup so why should we give it any more focus than we are? The team selected is more than good enough to win the tie - the players all speak of wanting/needing to win a trophy so why aren't they playing better? Because Poch says that domestic trophoes arent as important as the league or CL? Pull the other one...

It’s probably because these are the players that need minutes to get up to speed, but I’d rather they get minutes than over using the players that are going to be used in PL and CL games. These players are more than talented enough to beat Rochdale.

Do you think the players would be happy sticking around at a club that doesnt see itself as able to take on the best in Europe?

Would you have rested players away to Juventus for this game?

yes, he should have taken the shot, but it is understandable that he looks for better placed teammates. If he decides not to shoot, he needs to pass properly, which he didn't. So Sissoko left the responsibility to a team mate as always.
