Doesn't really matter what our passing is like. They've gone away and they've outplayed the apparently superior team. They should have won by more than one as well.

Yes Gallas needs dropping for being our best defender.
 
What a shocking performance this has been. Really worrying. Fully deserved win for Wigan this.

While I think we are suffering without Sandro and Parker, it's worrying that we don't play well together as a team, and that we don't seem to have a proper game plan today.

Much, much improvement needed.

We can blame AVB for the formation and lineup but the performance was flat and that's down to the players they have to put effort in and work, big time charlie attitude they thought we would turn up today and get 3pts. Shocking performance just shocking
 
A serious question. Are there any out of contract players in Europe who could come in right now and freshen up these abysmal clueless peformances. January will be too late...................another 8 weeks of our squad as it stands and we will be in the bottom half of the table, with top 4 (yeah right !) and top 6 already gone.
 
Lloris would have commanded his box better.
Gallas did okay.
Vertonghen needs to be playing LB, agreed.
Dempsey is definitely one that needs a lot more time to bed in.
Ade needs to be playing.

However, Kaboul, BAE, Dembele, Parker and Sandro are all injured. Limits our options in terms of who AVB can and cannot play.

The only grumble I had with him for today's debacle was his selection of Friedel over Lloris. The time has come, Andre.

Wigan outplayed us, hats off to them.

Siggurdson has to go. Dempsey, was he even on the pitch? AVB, how about intructing Bale to play wide and to stay wide. Again he came inside and was completely ineffective. Sturridge was going on about how great Wigan were. They wern't, they were crap, just slightly less crap than us. Home support, what happened to that?

I dont know, im sensing some bad vibes around the club. AVB was always going to be a risky appointment after what happened at Chelsea
