TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs SUNDERLAND - OMT

Frustrating first half for Spurs, who once again dominated without any end product.

Walker was responsible for the Sunderland goal but Adebayor's miss was simply unforgivable.

He's just not at the races when it comes to finishing-off chances this season.
 
Same old story, Nothing from Ade and Lennon, dawson is just awful. And we concede free kicks even though we know thats the only way they'd score.

Walker played fine bar bricking it when the sunderland player sprinted at him. Played the pass of the half to set Lennon free. We didn't have to defend much. Walker did get turned allowing a dangerous cross.
 
hahahahahaha i'm just watching the Walker challenge again..what a brain dead macaron. I mean he just grapples him and throws him..when he's going nowhere.
 
Ade's been simply awful. How he didn't bury that, I will never know.


Same as last week at Villa, only this time, one of our individual defensive errors gifted them a goal. Oh, Kyle.

I'd guess he means dominating an entire half without any real chances created, then conceding to their first shot of the game? It's happened a lot before, and I don't really understand why we can't create chances with the likes of Bale Lennon and Dembele.

Most Sunderland fans say that whenever they go ahead, they invite pressure, so we'll score. It's just about how many we score.

Look at it again.
We are going to need to break these down now and if we can, I think we'll go on to win. Ade is picking the wrong option constantly aswell which doesn't help.
 
Lennon much the best first half from him in an attacking sense for some time. Dominated the game. Should have been two or three up - Ade two and a Bale header. Ade has been poor again - seems to have no confidence in front of goal. No real commitment from him. I would put on Dempsey for him very soon.

Stupid. I like Walker. But we need to play him as we are Kyle. He's not steady enough to be playing every game. He's easing in.

Walker getting all the stick.

But Ade is the real villain.

We go 1-0 up and it's a different game. They have to come at us so even more space for our devastating counter attacks.

Ade has been dreadful this season. No quality. No effort. No courage. Nothing.
