Sherwood has got some serious stones putting on two kids at OT

Could've been 4-1 but I'll take the 2-1 any day

Now that we've got the points, we can relax and reflect that is was a fantastically well prepared team today. The coaching staff, Sherwood, absolutely brilliant work. We looked like a quality team out there. I wanted to know how Sherwood would adapt to not being able to go gung-ho against the big teams and he's shown what he can do. Very, very impressed.

And the players. Once they secured the points they carried out the plan perfectly. Fantastic performance. And the young guys as well seeing out that win. It's awesome. Well done to Sherwood for using them. Losing our best player in Ade who would have been perfect as the hold up man in the latter stages and still seeing it out. So, so impressed.

yep, have to admit i was wrong about Sherwood, I thought he would get found out against a decent manager but he's handled moyes today no problems, we were hanging on a bit at the end but the better team won
 
Absolutely fantastic, what a start to the new year ! Well done Tim and the boys. All round great peformance. Had to watch the last 10 mins through my fingers and sweating like a maniac ! My heart is still thumping ! This is why we love you Spurs.

It was just super. They didnt create much except for few mins towards the end and a couple of mins after they scored - that put us on edge a bit. I think his subs worked a treat as it calmed things down. I was suprised by the Kane sub but it worked.
 
**** me. I thought we'd be beat today so this is a massive bonus.

I thought Tim had lost the plot with those subs but they did the job. Lol at Kane booting it out.

Jury still out on Sherwood but what a start. Watching Spurs is a joy again. It really is.

Not bad considering Solardo, Lennon, Rose, Dawson, Chadli, Capoue & Adebayor were all **** according to the experts on this site
 
Enjoyed that win more than any under AVB. More satisfying to win like a team and score great team goals rather than relying on shots outside the box.
