I really want to keep the same team for the last 2 games unless an injury prevents us. Changing a winning combination is not the right thing to do for us right now.

Aston villa have all the attacking prowess of a wet bag at the moment. I'd rather have Sandro trying to make runs or have long shots than Parker attempting to break up things that they're not doing.

Haha, spot on, I don't think Villa is a game we need to rush to bring Parker back in for... especially when Sandro has done well over the last couple of games

We should quite easily be keeping the same team. Parker should take his place on the bench. Look at King, usually a starter no matter about the form of his. With Gallas and Kaboul in a winning team in a game where the opposition didnt muster one shot, you can't drop them.

Same with Sandro and Modric in the middle or anyone else around the team. Plus usually we play 3 in the middle when Lennon is not available, with him available now and on form, I doubt he'll drop him.

I'd even push so far as to have Livermore in the centre instead of both of them. I think he's slightly more creative.



Would be the perfect game for a Modric/Huddlestone pairing, unfortunately.

Different almost every week, they had like 5 or 6 defenders starting against West Brom in their last game and they drew 0-0.

Could definitely see a scrappy 1-0 loss for us against that. Heskey getting his one goal a season from an Albrighton cross he made after getting in behind Rose once all game that bounces to Agbonlahor who shoots and the ball deflects into Emile's path.

We would then have 70% possession for 70 minutes with a combination of Given wonder-saves and terrible finishing consigning us to 5th place in the league.

According to karma we've already had our shock defeats against the run of play this season including the default loss to a bottom 5 clogger at home. So hopefully we can turn it around this time!

Villa have been bad all season really, there last home game they got outplayed by Bolton and actually took the lead midway in the second half before still losing.

You just know their one good performance of the year will come on Sunday

Absolutely agree with this and I'm a big Parker fan.

You just can't change that team at the moment. Absolutely no need for 3 in the middle and Sandro deserves to carry on the good work he's been doing.

Wow he really does play full backs in midfield. I though when he played 2 RBs on the right side in our last game it was just a one-off because of the threat Bale... he really should be managing in Serie B or somewhere with that philosophy!

No point in rotation this end of the season with 2 games left... Same 11 against Bolton and i believe we can turn Villa over with a similar scoreline. They have been consistantly rubbish and deserve to be down in the relegation scrap
