****Tottenham Hotspur v Wolverhampton Wanderers****OMT

I didn't think it possible I could be angrier after Wednesday in which they made me drink gin just to calm down. But yesterday well.....good news i didn't drink. Just watched celebrity hunted instead.

The collective dunceness was outstanding.

Sorry i thought it was obvious from the wording on my post that Conte is making a mistake and it's not intentional to surrender the midfield.

Mourinho set us up deep on purpose and Nuno was a dead man walking from day one so not much to take from his time here.
People thought that mourinho was boring and could only park the bus, but the porous midfield and shaky defence continues, and vindicates his strategy.

Half of our boys in the first elevenare just not good enough for fast, expansive and robust football.

Just watched MOTD2.

Jenas’s analysis of the defence highlights how very poor we were. A litany of errors for both goals - but the way the defence (including Romero) were strolling about throughout the game, and failing to communicate on even the basics, is shocking to watch.

Communication is abysmal.
We miss an organiser, and have done for years.
The worrying thing is that romero and Bentancur are supposed to be vocal and push players on have only just joined us and there's no sign of it.
Has it been knocked out them already.

Can't say that i agree, Mourinho’s reaction to any set back was to go ever more defensive, which compounded the problems we were facing, he was in a hole and kept digging - Contes first test is finding a soloution to our performances with Dier & Skipp missing, let's see what he does to resolve this but I'm not sure how it has any baring on what previous managers did

I thought we had the ultimate one, in this manager?

I thought it was all about automatism's?

I was beginning to see that in the first few weeks, now it looks like there is a coding error.

On field, we need someone to keep discipline, our positioning is terrible.
We get dragged all over the pitch or go chasing balls we are never going to get.
Either we have had five managers that can't organise a team, or a team not doing what it is told.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty poor yesterday. There were obvious reasons for that, of course - but some grounds (I hate to say it, but like Anfield) would have really got behind a struggling team.

And I’ll never understand why someone would pay £50+ for a ticket and then leave with 10 minutes - plus injury time - to go. The ground was only a third full at best for the last 10 minutes yesterday. People seem to have forgotten the Leicester game pretty quickly.

I stayed to the end (you wouldn't walk out on a movie before the end, no matter how predictable the plot) but be honest, never at any point did there look like there was another "Leicester" in that team yesterday.

Ref. the atmosphere, it was fantastic on Wednesday when we went 2-1 up and look where that got us :D Have to say though, third time I've seen us play Wolves this season and their fans have been fantastic every time. Hats off to them.

It was scary wasn’t it
Those goals were from a defence not really under pressure either
They were just poor errors
At least vs scbc there was an element of pressure on the defence

The amount of times the wrong player is in the wrong position is scary
Seeing Romero run out to a ball Davies had covered made me laugh as Davies had to fight him off and Romero left a gaping hole behind him

then seeing Kane drop deeper (because of no midfielder passer) abs leave a huge no 9 size hole was classic panic stations

That’s two quality players and we had everyone in disarray at different times

we have to change the set up to get players on the pitch who can keep the ball first abs foremost and that will helpfully stop the players moving into the wrong places
