*** Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine OMT ***

To think that Danny once was a winger with finishing like that

We're as dominant as Everton were in first half yesterday, need another goal (or 2) to kill this off!

Nobody ever said they're pointless.

They're just a (roughly) one in thirty opportunity. A conversion rate that sits roughly around the region of punts up from the keeper.
Yes because only 2 in 30 are over knee height, so it is a 1 in 2 chance if you think a bit deeper about it

Using that logic, shots from the halfway line are a good idea, because of those that go in the top corner, 100% are goals.

If Rose was running in from the right then he would have slotted that (consider too that it was off a deflection). Perhaps due to the quickness of it, it was perhaps a shot, a cross or both!

With the amount of high balls we've targeted Coloccini and Mbemba with you can see why we've went with Alli over Son.
Carroll has done exactly as expected. Second most completed passes after Alderweireld who has gone long repeatedly.

Incorrect. I am just factoring in the quality of the delivery and the intent/preparation/training of the attacking side.

Without factoring that in, you get 1 in 30. But of well delivered corners with a well drilled attack, the ratio would be way higher than that e.g. 1 in 10 and we have around 10 corners/freekicks per game.

That was a terrible choice then. Slow moving ball, coming up to it on his good foot, keeper over to one side of the goal. If Carlsberg created scoring opportunities.....

I'm just going on the way he addressed the ball and the way he was looking as soon as it left his foot
