First half impressions at the start of Frank era

- We still press and desire to get ball back into play super quick still a thing
- We try to get the ball forward quickly, and have passing routes
- Looks neat and technical
- Defense has managed not to look exposed, one error from set piece which Porro had to cover.

On players

- Porro looking good, trying to be GG mascot with blonde hair and black kit (looks like a badger)
- Romero doing a lot of his passing from back thing
- Solanke probably got more touches in the first 30 minutes than most games last season
- Weakest players (not bad) were Devine, Johnson, Moore (Moore did improve in last part of half)

Reading is further through their pre-season, sitting deep, and we have dominated the ball

Tried to pick up formation, at times we played 4-4-2
