Plenty still to work on but some nice (patches) of play and performance in there.

Nah not having it, he could still be great we just need to wait until Frank is sacked and see if the next manager uses a system that plays to his strengths and then he will be amazing. Just refuse to accept a 32 year old is on the decline despite the evidence of the past two years - it's definitely on the manager....

Vuskovic could well be in the side. Certainally in the squad. Just seems technically and physically ready. Needs more games to know. But looked the real deal today.

Udogie did well, got involved. Really want to see him kick on this season.

looks like there was a huge emphasis from playing out from the back and set pieces.

attack still looks a bit uncoordinated but its expected at this stage.

not going to judge the players but kudus is just amazing to watch - awareness, first touch, close control, acceleration, corners .... instant upgrade, money well spent.

I didn't, I took it as read its Pre Season so I expect a fair level of this stuff in our players.
