That's because we've swapped four in midfield for three! With Bale and VDV playing like forwards. He should have stuck Lennon on instead of VDV and gone 4-5-1. Our fullbacks are horribly exposed.

I think the players mindset will be how it was when we collapsed from 2-0 up to 5-2 down against Manchester United because of the Gomes penalty decision. The players are probably just as much shell shocked as us fans and they need to get that belief back but I dont see how.
The writing was on the wall when this thread appeared minus a badger.
