Spur of the moment

Me too. It's the one thing I hate about the design. Even if they are necessary, paint the wall behind them navy to hide them, rather than having glass so everyone can see them.

Fill them up with a tv screen that moulds into the gaps
i wish the corners wernt wavy like the Emirates but atleast our stands seem alot steaper and we obviously have the single tier aswell.
The rake of the south stand is different to the rest. They should fill in the corner,s....too late now!
Is that a dividing wall between the east and south stand? Looks like it but what for?

Mmmm not too cool!
I,m sure it will be alright match day and maybe create some extra noise.....
Alternatively pull it down and start again.
Get those corners fixed with extra seats and line up the side stands with the South Stand
That's what makes this stadium stand out and differ from the generic bowls! All the stands are different, and this makes it a lot less sterile. It's pretty much the whole point of the stadium! Because the south stand is a single tier, the rake has to be different. It's impossible to line it up with a 3 tierd stand, and to prevent people from falling down to the other stand, you need a wall. It's pretty basic stuff.Mmmm not too cool!

i'm getting worried. We are getting used to playing at Wembley, especially for the big games, that the new stadium - might be too small ??
No, another tier can't be added. And it's not only because of transport. We're right on the limits of the building site. It can't be expanded, and there is no reason to make it any bigger either, as we don't need it. Add to that, even if it could be done, adding another 5-10k seats would be so expensive that it would never be economically viable.I bet it has been designed so we can easily add a fourth tier, even though this was officially denied during the planning process (to assuage transport concerns)
so are the east and west different? This.
Someone on the radio last night said that they had heard that we will be playing at Wembley next season as well because the new stadium will not be ready to move into
I reckon we could easily hang a 4000? seat shelf above the single tier stand if we wanted. No, another tier can't be added. And it's not only because of transport.
