Rumours on Facebook say it’s a deal worth £2bn over ten years - if true, that's £200m every year. Could be huge.

Crypto.com sponsor the old Staples Center in LA for £700m over 20 years. That can't just be for stadium naming rights.

Don't shoot the messenger, however you're free to shoot me for not spotting it was 2,2bn Norwegian Kroner, roughly £160m.When has a Facebook rumour ever amounted to anything....
Saw something that said it was Saudi oil company Aramco. The saudi pif is not buying naming rights to the stadium. We are not naming the stadium the pif stadium.
Now one of the companies the pif owns might sponsor or the saudi tourism board or something. But then why are the reports not saying that?
When etihad sponsored city of manchester stadium. It was reported as etihad. Not abu dhabi investment fund.
For me it sounds like 2+2 =5. Spurs looking for investment, spurs splash cash on players = lets make a story up about saudi investment, fans go mental over that.

But given all we have been told about finding a sponsor that is the right fit for our brand, going for a Saudi fossil fuel organisation would be tantamount to tearing up our values, stamping on them and putting them through the shredder. Can’t believe it would be anything like that.
You say thatHow would sponsoring our stadium brnefit aramco? Is it going to make people go out and buy more oil from them?
That one is probably a bell curve. So the 'brand value' of it being called the Tottenham Hotspur stadium is no longer considered worth much?![]()
