TBF we copied them too haha. Weirdly I was there for a game as a guest of Emirates when Levy and architects did a tour of public areas, Arsenal were more than happy for it. We saw their food and beverage side as best in class.

I was there too, had a great time.

Was kinda weird not having the chanting on the walk to and from the station, and that I easily got served and got a seat in the Antwerp beforehand.

The toilet situation was very weird, usually my misses walks right on in the bogs whilst i queue on a match day but it was the other way around tonight. Even had ladies in the mens using the cubicles.

Yeah, saw some if that.

As good as the stadium is, maybe the balance is wrong for toilet facilities.

Not an issue at venues with gender neutral bathrooms I guess.

Its flexible at WHL - they just change the signs based on a projected gender balance for the event. Its why you often end up in ones with no urinals and think its inefficient
 
How was the sound?

We had mixed reviews with guns n roses and lady gaga, so hoping it was an issue with the way guns n roses set up

Was alright, the base was very very strong. I assume the club doesn’t get involved in anything like that. The stage, props, music etc will all be sorted by the act and their set up team.

That is what generally happens at music veues, not sure about the Lane though. Many years ago i had a mate who opened a new music/disco venue in Manchester with top of the range sound system built especially made for the building. One of the first bands he had on were Led Zepp and they insisted on using their own and we could not talk them out of it.

I love Zepp but they we really bad and it was a mess with the sound, the second night they agreed to use the built in system and they rocked the place.
