Not much point to that right now, but I've always been interested in how future proof the place is, and how high the capacity can go in hopefully better times in the future. I understand a major revision to the design would be wholly uneconomical given the fact that the entire roof will apparently need to be replaced as part of any redesign, being some sort of tensioned-in thing.

But how big can the current capacity get, d'you think?

If the game evolves safe standing there is that but I would say the club included that in their reckoning.

There is a point in which you hit an optimum of seats v demand v what you can charge and you hit a higher yield factor financially with less seats than if we were able to have 70k seats for example when you have to start to look at what you can charge from the highest to the lowest season ticket which are all effected by the added space etc, it all works on economic models.

If the team exploded in success you would earn more money ripping off less fans than having 10k more seats, thats the reality.

I am in the same boat, requested refund etc - i have received a call from someone at Sarries asking if i definitely wanted a refund or wanted to transfer to a non-competitive game v Stormers next year, politely declined that one! Anyway, he did say refunds will be processed this month so will keep an eye out

YesI have done the skywalk. There’s a post a page or two back of my take on it.
Short version - good, not as scary as I thought it would be, would recommend to Spurs fans but can’t see it being of interest to anyone else particularly.
