I always think of the Norwich 4 - Polston, Culverhouse, Bowen, Crook

I bump into John once in a while and we have a bunch of mutual friends. He's told me about his 8 fantastic years at Carrow Road and that European adventure under Mike Walker in the early nineties. Don't know him that well but he seems a top bloke. I enjoyed watch Spurs vs Dortmund in our local a few years back under Poch. Just 2 proper Spurs fans nattering about our club for a couple of hours.

I know John Polston and Mark Stimson (another ex Academy lad) very well. They are good mates, worked together in non league for abit

His brother Andy played for us as well, I think they played in the first team together once.

Who makes this team?

The criteria is they need to have actually played for the youth team and then gone on to play for the club. So your Rose, Lennon, Bale do not make it unfortunatley. Neither do Walker & Souness.

Determining factor is on their Wikipedia page if it says Youth Career Tottenham Hotspur. Example with Ledley King who I imagine is a shoe in at Centre Back.

Think Souness was used as a sub in an away European game in Iceland.
