He was decent. Think the problem is that the expectation for many was that he would be dangerous but erratic and the two shooting opportunities he got today were pretty dire efforts and similar to what we saw at Chelsea. Neither were easy opportunities but they don’t help the perception of him.Pretty good debut. Thought he started out with a lot of intent, but became a bit more cautious when his first efforts didn't work out. Great assist though. And he gets himself into good attacking positions. All of this in his first game for a team he joined less than a week ago. I think he will be a great asset for us.
And he's only played 17mins of football in the last two months before today! He was absolutely fine today. Disservice to him and the game to read more or less in it given half a week training.

I thought he looked really bright. Has a real knack of finding pockets of space.
Linked up well in general. Got an assist. Caused Man U lots of problems.
Hit the target?Considering that game time this season, plus only two training sessions with Spurs, not sure you could expect more than, get into positions, get an assist, push the opponents back. As others have mentioned, probably a touch too safe (Ange will train that out of him).
Was completely out of gas at the end ..
Was going wide thoughI'd forgotten the back post header - that had Onana flapping!
I was thinking Tony Cottee myself...Obviously Jimmy Greaves is the benchmark for forwards debuts.

For or against us?
He's already got more assists at Old Trafford this season than Antonythere was a stat during the game. That he had 5-6 shots. And that he never had that in his whole chelski career in one game.
I will give him time. Was his first game. He has pace and vision out wide. But yes, needs to do better with hitting the target. The one from the skipp pass was a big disappointment.
