Thomas Frank Thread

If we do appoint TF, really looking forward to all the Frank jokes that are bound appear, surely for starters one of our early opponents in CL will be Eintracht FRANKfurt .

Wouldn't necessarily be my first choice but I think he's a decent manager. That thread linked in one of the first posts does make out that they spend a lot of time in possession in their own third which could be a worry. Hopefully he can step up and play on the front foot a bit more.

He spent a lot if time as a youth team coach. His original role at brentford was to forge a path to the first team for b team players. So for the youth i think he'd be good.

The leadership group i guess depends on who is here by the end of the window.

We have a lot of games next season and space in the senior squad so think most will stay. He is tactically flexible so adapts to what's available and the opposition. So doubt there will be a major overhaul of the squad.
Im hoping Devine, Donely and Vuskovic will be fast tracked into the squad proper for next season

Whoever comes in, they will have a chance to become the manager who wins a title for Spurs quickest, as their first official game will be the Supercup final!

He likes 3 at the back which may suit us with a plethora of CBS and a lack of DMs
If Romero remains he can play the old school playmaker role from deep
Creativity would come via the wing backs who again, I think we have options on (need one more) and the attacking options do have variety but we do need an additional striker who can stay fit
Would be intriguing to see and it’s a system that can win titles as we have seen before

Not sure "likes" is the word. He switched from 4 at the back to 3. To be difficult to beat according to his interview. As in the championship it was teams with 3 at the back they found difficult to breakdown.

I’ve seen them play 3 loads of times. He switched because of player availability too
It’s why i said about 3 months ago I’ve really warmed to him as the man. He is flexible
