Thomas Frank - Head Coach

Understandably with the injury list currently we can’t expect free flowing football, and to an extent I’m doubtful we can expect it at all for the remainder of this season. Perhaps that’s apathy creeping in a bit on my part. The style we are playing is a lot more palatable if we are winning. I think TF is still used to approaching games as the underdog which is easier to take if we’re playing Emirates Marketing Project, but time wasting against Brentford not long into the 2nd half isn’t going to convince people of him being the right fit for the long term.

I don’t think he’s in any danger of losing his job this season, but we have no idea how the Lewis’ will view his tenure so far. Without making this a Levy discussion, I do think when he was in charge he wanted the manager to uphold some sort of Tottenham style and tradition of attacking football. There are obvious appointments he made that prove that wasn’t always the case, but I think it’s fair to say overall he wanted to keep to a style in line with the club’s identity. As of now, there’s no way of knowing how the people in charge will value that club identity.

That said if we lose to Sunderland on Sunday and the stadium is booing, who knows how the board will react.
