This is what concerns me

In the context of the relegation fight, yes, we need a few wins, but the longer we go without one, the more the pressure builds and the harder it gets. We have to break the cycle, and I dare say it has to happen now or we won't pull out of this nosedive. The next match is a must-win, IMHO, and we should treat it with the importance of a CL final.
Which means we implode further. Not too many times in recent memory have we stepped up when needed

This is the table from November 1st onwards.

13. West Ham 21pts -4
14. Leeds Utd 20pts -1
15. Brighton 19pts 0
16. Palace 19pts -8
17. Forest 17pts +2
18. Tottenham 12pts -13
19. Burnley 9pts -16
20. Wolves 8pts -0

We’ve actually been showing relegation form stretching back all the way to September the 14th 🫣

On the upside, at least that’s an improvement of 2 points upon the tally we accumulated in the latter 23 matches of last season! Sadly for us none of this season’s promoted sides are quite so appalling as last year’s trio though.

You could arguably say that we have worse availability now than we have done through those mini league periods shown in the images.

So Tudor has even less to work with currently.

This is why I said what I said when he joined and people were saying he has a good record of instant turnaround.

I assume in those cases he was making previously good players (who’d gone a bit lazy/bad) play well again for a short period.

Does he have a history of lifting 13 players as bad as these to new heights?

I'm hoping this is where Romero comes in - he does have a history of getting teams over the line. Although he is well out of favour with media and refs so expect decisions to go against him during the run in.

Vicario
van de Ven
Palhinha
Spence
Sarr
Bissouma
Gallagher
Gray
Simons
Solanke
Richarlison
Souza
Porro

Those are the 'fighters' available at the moment, and should be the first names on the teamsheet.

Another thing that concerns me is if other clubs like Chelsea or Manchester United decide to be ‘on the beach’ when they play against Forest. The fixtures are so late and can just imagine their supporters thinking it funny if they lose to relegate us.

We need someone else to play central defence instead of Palhinha. Palhinha is our best DM, it is folly to play him out of position when we need fight in midfield. I know you haven’t said to play him there, but it’s a point that seems to be missed by Tudor.

Spence and Bissouma are not fighters - Spence only tries when his place is at risk or he is out of the team for awhile, when he gets comfortable his performances drop. Bissouma was being moved on for a reason, he is "lazy" in comparison to our other mids. As for Souza, not sure we have seen him enough to determine his level of fight.

That is why a few of us were so invested in the club getting rid of Frank sooner. It was evident a long while back that he hadn't developed any patterns of play that allowed us to progress the ball and create chances. The only times that we didn't look abject was when the players sacked off his tactics and went for it in the second half of games that we were losing (and even then we looked ok due to effort not patterns of play).

Who is talking about relegation on the internet if not the fans?

Are you asking opposing fans to not mention our potential relegation? Or hoping to go full CCP and censor the media? I'm a bit lost.

And I outright disagree on the reffing front, they're just doing their job day to day.
I'm specifically referring to Talksport and the influencers on social media such as Youtube. But also, MSM. I don't know if you have noticed but in the last fortnight all it's been is "are Spurs going down?"

I saw nothing on Sunday which suggests that Spence, Bissouma or Sarr are up for a relegation scrap. VDV wants out and will be gone in the summer no matter what, I reckon, but I hope professional pride will ensure that he doesn't want to be part of a relegation team. The rest I agree with.

United and Chelsea may still be looking to secure CL places at that stage. We also play Chelsea late on - and we also play Leeds and Everton, who could be safe by that time and therefore are as likely to be on the beach as anyone else.

t's about the narrative that is being sprayed all over the place on MSM and the internet. I reckon, in some instances, it becomes self-fulfilling, in terms of player morale and how refs administer games. I'm specifically referring to Talksport and the influencers on social media such as Youtube. But also, MSM.
I hear you. There's a lot of outside noise.
As one would expect really. Media doing what media does. If it were another 'big' club instead of us, they'd likely be all over that too.

But Chelsea will never be on the beach against us. We’ve seen that in the past.

Also a co pledge myth that Spence is a good defender. He’s good at one on ones and tackling and that’s it. General positioning is an abomination.
