It's also part of our responsibility to give these kids the best opportunities we canBall wasnt someone who many of us had any hopes of 12 months ago, but last year really launched his career. Shows that some of these loans do pay off, both for the player and (to a lesser extent in this case) for us. I assume we'll have agreed that we get a % of any future profit which they make on him, so for us its realistically the best thing for us - cant see how he would have got any game time this year
How strange, thought he'd gone to Chelsea. Highly rated so surprised he's switching around clubs like that. Career wise he would've been better off staying at Spurs with Pochettino in charge.

Interesting part about that link was:
Meanwhile, Palace have England U16 international Nya Kirby on trial following his decision to turn down an offer of a scholarship from Spurs. He has previously trialled with Arsenal and Chelsea but no deal was agreed with either club.
A lot on here were upset on here when he turned down a contract so it odd that Arse and Chelsea did not sign him either, maybe an attitude problem.
Wonder if that Kirby lad will end up back here having seen the grass isn't quite as green as it seemed elsewhere
