The are times we really should rest VDV so as not to push it with his hamstrings.

No one with half a brain would, but we've got plenty on here who would along with 6 or 7 others as any group of employees Spurs have can beat any bunch of foreigners or teams below us in the league.

That's not really rotation. That's a second string for secondary competitions. Like we used to play Foyth, Wimmer or Sanchez. But you'd never say we rotated Alderweireld and Verts.

Rotation is more setting yourself up differently for tactical or fatigue reasons. But that doesn't really apply to CBs.
